I could delete this post. I could also edit it into an entirely new post, make it totally my own. I don’t think I will. Getting the obligatory, gosh-i-hope-this-whole-blog-thing-works-out post out of the way with something impersonal feels nice. Takes the pressure off.

Although I guess I could say what it is I’m hoping to get out of this blog. There’s no big Purpose behind it, I’m just trying to give myself an excuse to write. It’ll also be a good place for people to look if I’m trying to submit freelance work, just in case they were wondering if I had indeed ever written anything on a computer in English before. “Guess what!” this website says. “He has!”

I could start off with something better thought out, more symbolic, more representative of me, but I won’t, because it feels better to let my first post be bad than to go out of my way to make it mean something. There’s probably a metaphor in there somewhere.

I’m also not going to tag this under anything, so it’ll be hard to find down the road, unless you go looking for it. So there’s that.
